Your teacher, your family, your friends, your work colleagues. 5 Steps to Turning The Emotional Corner

When you are living fully through the Law of Attraction, you have to pay attention to how you feel. When you feel good, you are drawing to you things you have asked for. If you feel bad, you are holding yourself apart form the things you want to create in your life. This doesn’t mean that you will never feel bad…you will…every day. But when you feel negative emotion you can turn it back around to a positive emotion. The key is becoming aware of resistance in your vibration. Try using these five steps to stay a match to what you are asking for through Law of Attraction:

1. Notice pain or stiffness in your body. When you notice it, turn the emotional corner and breathe into the pain or stiffness. See yourself adding light and love and gratitude into the stiff area. Imagine it releasing and relaxing. This really works if you stop and really do it, I promise.You will feel better.

2. Notice how you talk to yourself. As you move through the day, pay attention to the words you use to talk to yourself. Do you praise your actions and feelings, or do you “talk down” to yourself? Do you say “nice interaction…I have perfect timing” or do you more often say “hey dummy, that was a stupid thing to do.”? If you are not being kind to yourself, turn the emotional corner by affirming that you aren’t perfect, and that you are doing the best you can. Change words that criticize into words that uplift. Let your view of yourself match the view that your inner being has about you. Your inner being loves you and knows you are exactly where you need to be right now. You will feel better.

3. Notice how you talk directly to others. Your vibration is also affected by the way you interact with others directly. Are you kind and uplifting to the people you see everyday? It’s easier to be kind to friends and family as opposed to the annoying cashier at the market. But your vibration (and emotional state) depends on how you handle the annoying people too. Can you find something to like about them? Can you see yourself in them somehow. Turn the emotional corner by giving them credit for who they are, and by feeling grateful for the service they are providing to you. You will feel better.

4. Notice how you talk with others ABOUT others. It is easy and tempting for two people to put down a third person, especially if that person is not present to hear it. It can feel good to agree with a friend that another person is ugly, stupid, inappropriate, or incompetent. But if you say these things, the experience won’t raise your vibration much, and soon you will feel the lowering of your vibration too. Turn the emotional corner by refusing to criticize others, even when someone is egging you on. The best way to do this is to start saying nice things about the person instead of degrading things. Or just don’t say anything at all. You will feel better.

5. Notice when you are clumsy. This is a real step. A sign of your disconnection can come through stubbing a toe, dropping a glass, hitting your head while turning, or by spilling a cup of hot coffee. When these things happen, stop and turn the emotional corner by affirming that you have some negative emotion activated. Simply take a deep breath and feel gratitude for your inner guidance that let’s you know when you are disconnected. Say “thanks” and move ahead a little more slowly and thoughtfully. Maybe you can also stop and close your eyes and collect yourself as well. Forgive yourself for attracting the spill, accident, or clumsiness, and move on ahead with confidence and humbleness. You will stop the chain of weirdness and you will surely feel better!

“With Our Thoughts, We Make The World.”

I have a wonderful piece of chiseled and painted stone (pictured here) hanging in my house. The text is a quote from Buddha Skakyamuni (b.624 BC): “We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.” For people who are just coming to know and understand the Law of Attraction, it seems like a New-Age revelation. These laws are as old as Source Energy, and though you may be discovering them recently, humans on planet Earth have been aware of these laws for a very, very, very long time. The idea that we create our reality through our thoughts has been documented and discussed as long as records have been kept, and the same message is interwoven throughout most every religious tradition, and even through scientific inquiry. Movies like “What The Bleep Do We Know?” report how science is just beginning to prove that our thoughts have a concrete and real affect on physical matter. Science is showing that everything is energy, and at certain levels, everything is interconnected. When you change one aspect of anything, and hence its vibration, the change ripples out and affects everything within its frequency. The Universe is expanding and expanding and expanding!

When I was in middle school, I picked up a book called “The Nature of Personal Reality” by Jane Roberts and Robert Butts. I read it cover to cover and then started on the next “Seth” book in the series. By the time I was done, creating your own reality made perfect sense to me. It’s not about deciding to create your own reality through your thoughts…but the realizing fact that you DO create reality through your thoughts, even if you don’t know you are. If you are thinking, you are creating, period. It makes sense, then, to pay attention to the way you are creating. The evidence you have is clear and concrete: the life you are living right now arose from your thoughts in the past. Do you like your life, right now? If you do, stay focused in the manner you have been focusing. Enjoy the ride. If you don’t like what you have manifested, then begin noticing the ways you talk to yourself and others. What kind of stories do you tell in your head to yourself? Are you kind and optimistic when giving yourself advice? Are you kind to others? It is human to beat yourself up every now and again…but there is no need to make it your full-time job! If you can notice when your thoughts feel good and reflect your desires for a better life, and when they contradict your intentions for a better life, you can begin to give more energy and attention to the thoughts that will create the life you want. There is no emergency. You can perfect this little by little for eternity. Just begin by noticing and redirecting. Over time, you will see the evidence of your new and more consistent (and joyful) thinking. Thanks so much for your question. One way you can help her is to encourage her to talk about the developing skills in a way that feels better to her. For example, if she says “I’m not a good setter” and you know she is telling herself this either out loud or to herself, you can redirect her and say “you are getting better every moment at setting.” Once she gives herself the benefit of the doubt in her vibration, then you can start reaching farther with saying statements such as “My setting skills are becoming amazing. Everyone can tell I am getting really good at it.” There are many statements that she can say and then believe fully, and you will know best which ones to support her through and guide her to. She can also “practice” in her imagination. Have her sit quietly and “see herself” in her mind doing the skills with amazing grace and precision. Law of Attraction will not know that she is not really doing it, and will help her on the real court. Be sure she doesn’t visualize failures, but rather imagines herself being amazing. She will draw on these attraction momentum builders when she goes out there for real. You supporting her is huge, because many of us quit when the world tells us we are kidding ourselves. But we are not kidding ourselves, and having someone you love and trust help you practice these tools for expansion is very powerful. Let me know if this approach works in your case. Law of Attraction Tips for Wellness and Prosperity


Today I am going to take the first agreement from the book “The Four Agreements” by Don Miguel Ruiz and relate it to my understanding of the Law of Attraction. If you haven’t read Part 1 of this series, you can click HERE to see it before you read this post. In his book, the author discusses how we inherit certain beliefs as we grow from infancy into adulthood. The beliefs we hold come to form the basis for what we call “truth” in the world, and our behavior is vastly shaped by those beliefs. We make an agreement with ourselves to call these beliefs “reality” and to not question them in our own minds. But if you adopt new agreements, replacing the old ones, and decide to guide your life by them, your can transform your life in a powerful way. Remember that the four NEW agreements are:

1.     Be impeccable with your word.

2.     Don’t take anything personally.

3.     Don’t make assumptions.

4.     Always do your best.

The first agreement, “Be impeccable with your word” is not easy to understand at first.

Does it mean that you have to only use certain words, or that you have to monitor your speech in ways that feel unnatural? Not at all. If you think about the Law of Attraction, and if you remember that LoA responds to your vibration, the “word” takes on a more profound meaning. The words you think to yourself, and that you speak to others, create a vibrational average that we call your point of attraction. When your thoughts and words are in alignment with your Source Energy, then you feel a strong connection and flow which is translated into an experience of feeling good. Another way to say this is: if you use words that align with Source, you feel good. In fact, if you feel emotions that feel less-than-good, you can be sure that you have been practicing thoughts that are not aligning with your Source.

So what does Source Energy think about you and anyone in this reality? That is the million-dollar question, because it is the key to feeling good, being in the flow of life, attracting the life you want, and using the magic of Law of Attraction to manifest everything you have been wanting. Source Energy loves you. It knows that you are good, and it knows that you are worthy. It sees the best in others, it sees the best in you, and it knows that you are perfect in your eternal imperfection. It rejoices every time you expand and become more than you were. It understands that the purpose of life is joy and expansion. It uplifts, loves, expands, and celebrates every moment. Get in the flow of Source, and you feel good. Feel good more of the time, and you attract more things that help you feel good. It is a cycle of thinking and feeling that has no upper limit…but you have to think like your Source…and hence you must agree to “Be impeccable with your word.”

Being impeccable with my word means, to me, doing my best to love myself and everyone I come into contact with. It means abandoning “put down” thinking that normally accompanies gossip. It means reaching for a better-feeling thought more of the time. It means leaving behind preconceptions of myself and others in exchange for vibrational offerings that align more and more with what my Source thinks. It implies that I look for the best in every situation. If you are impeccable with your word, you will not suddenly be perfect. But you will make a new agreement with yourself that will help you feel better and better. You have no eternal cosmic commitment to be disconnected, feeling bad, or a negative realist. You can choose to think the way that feels best, and the door through which you must walk is via your personal word.

Feeling Good Simply Feels…Good!

There have been time in my life where I didn’t feel as good as I could have. You must certainly feel the same way. But when these times are upon you, and when you feel that there is no bliss on your emotional radar, don’t worry. There is no risk to you here on planet Earth in that you will always experience contrast and connection. You will always have times when you feel good and times when you feel bad. All is well. What I want to remind you of today is how good, good feels. Good feels really good, and the most important thing to remember is that no mater how how feel, you can always feel better by reaching for the best thought you have access to. Here’s one way that I practice this:

If I am going through my day and then I suddenly realize that I am disconnecting from Source Energy (I can tell because I am irritated or basically pissed off about something), my first step is simply to acknowledge what is happening. I don’t try to fix it, nor do I beat myself up for the way I feel. Instead, I ride out the feeling and I do my best to truly feel it while it is happening. Once I notice it and ride it for a little while, feeling it and simply observing, I wait for it to loose some of it’s energy. That’s right…as long as I don’t feed it with thoughts that feel worse, it is going to run its course and dissipate a little.

Once my pissy attitude has let down a little, then I have the opportunity to clean it up. What I do is look for any thought that feels better than the one I was just thinking. If I was really upset, this first thought will not sound great to an outside observer. It might be a thought of hatred, anger, revenge, or whatever feels better than what I was feeling in the first place. But I continue to reach and feel, and observe and reflect. In little time, I start feeling optimistic again, and then I am off to the races!

Once I get hold of an optimistic thought, then I have access to tons of thoughts that actually feel good. I can then move into gratitude, expectation, belief, happiness, passion, love, appreciation, and even bliss. And once my day moves into a thought-feeling of “Optimism” or higher, then everything seems to start falling together in a positive way. I develop perfect timing, and I become really productive in my job or tasks for the day. Law of Attraction works all day, every day, no matter how you feel. It simply lines you up to experience life according to how you feel on average. So if you think and feel, and think and feel, and reach for thoughts that are optimistic, Law of Attraction will match the vibration and expand your experience to the level of optimistic. Life simply works out, and you become one of the “lucky” people that seem to be in the right places at the right times.

So if you feel less than optimistic, no worries. Feel your feelings, let them be what they are, don’t pile on and make it worse or beat yourself up…and then reach for the relief of a better-feeling thought. It feels bad to feel bad, and it feels oh so geed to feel good. You have the choice to experience your life the way you want it to be. So today, climb your way up to feeling good, because good feels…well…Good!

Sometimes we look around at other people and we get the feeling that we should be experiencing our world in the same way that they are. This is the classic “keeping up with the Joneses” syndrome where you never feel like your life is as good as someone else’s life. Because Law of Attraction gives you more of what ever you focus upon, is it not to your advantage to look at anyone this way, because you can’t help but feel bad comparing the two experiences. A lot of stress and disconnection is created by people who strive to keep up with everyone else. The truth is, you can’t keep up with anyone else when it comes to creating your own reality and attracting joy into your life. What you think you see others experiencing in their own lives is simply a manifestation of what they have attracted and allowed. YOU are doing the same, and you are receiving based on your personal vibrational alignment with who you have become. When you strive to be in alignment with a vibration you have not expanded into, only frustration and disconnection can be your experience.

Not keeping up with others is a good idea. Not keeping up with yourself is a bad idea. Every time you experience contrast in your life, you know what you don’t want, and you define more clearly what you DO want. When you define what you DO want, your vibrational self takes on an expansion that equals the degree of the asking. In other words, if you get really, really sick, vibrationally you become very, very healthy. At this point you are not going to feel good at all, because there are literally TWO yous: the sick one and the healthy one. These two vibrations do not match, and your emotional guidance system will tell you that there is discord in your vibration with yourself. You will feel like crap. The only real choice you have, if you want to be a joyful and expanding human on planet Earth, is to keep up with yourself, and give your full attention to becoming a vibrational match to your healthy self. You can’t undo what you have become, by the way. You either align with it, or you feel bad. Simple. Change (for the better) or suffer where you are until you are so unhappy that you are pushed to change somehow. Why not save yourself the struggle and give your full attention to matching your own vibrational expansion?

So in summary, you can never align with someone else’s vibrational expansion, because it isn’t yours. Don’t bother trying to keep up with what others have created. Instead, pay close attention to who you have become, and stand ready to be like the latest and greatest version of YOU! Just by living and experiencing life you have helped create the very best version of who you can possibly be right now. Relax, make peace with where you are, and notice how you feel. If you feel good (or better) you are aligning vibrationally with the new you. Just keep up with you. You Already Have Won The Prize!

A few days ago, I was conversing with a friend after church about what his plans were for the rest of the day. The conversation went something like this:

Me: “So, what do you have planned for the rest of the day?”

Friend: “Oh, I’m going to go and watch my granddaughter’s soft ball team play.”

Me: “That sounds like fun! How old are they?”

Friend: “They’re between seven and nine years of age.”

Me: “Are they a good team?”

Friend: “Not really. They are at the bottom of their league!”

Me: “Ouch! That must not be good for morale.”

Friend: “Actually, they don’t care. They aren’t there to win any big awards, or be the best in the league. They are there to have a good time and enjoy each other’s company. Winning or losing doesn’t even cross their minds!”

I had an immediate thought at this point. Why can’t life be this way? Why can’t we NOT worry about having everything “work out” and just have fun with each other, and let the Universe take care of us? So I decided to give it a try. Instead of worrying about my relationships, and where they were going, I let go of that and just had fun with them. In place of working to get approval from my colleagues, I accepted that they already approved of me, and made our work together a thing of play. I relaxed, and trusted that Law of Attraction was lining me up with the vibration of what I wanted. Guess what happened? All of my relationships have taken a positive step forward. In fact, one of my friends remarked to me about the positive “change” he has seen in me this week. The work that my colleagues and I were doing seemed to just fly by as if guided by an invisible genie. Seemingly impossible situations magically worked themselves out all by themselves, without my having to invest any energy at all. I didn’t worry at all about how good I was, how effective I was, or even if I was getting these Law of Attraction principles down correctly or not. I simply realized that it is a wonderfully automatic system that works to perfection every time. We need not worry about being finished with the process, because WE are a never-finished process. We are eternal beings. There is always something wonderful and new to learn, and we can learn everything in our own perfect time. We don’t ever have to worry about winning, because we have already won. We already have the prize. All we need to do is to enjoy our process…enjoy all of it…the people, places and things in our lives, and just have fun. Enjoy the prize!  -Lee


Gratitude Helps You Find The Silver Lining!

As a human on Planet Earth, you are certain to have both good and bad days. The good days are fun, and the bad days can really feel bad. When you feel good, the Law of Attraction is kicking in to align you with people, events, and circumstances that you have been asking for and wanting over time. When you feel bad you will be attracting people, events, and circumstances that match your vibration of disconnection. Another way to say this is that “good days get better and bad days get worse.” No matter how you feel you are always attracting, so feeling better helps you manifest more and more of what you desire. But as you have probably noticed, feeling better when you feel bad can take some deliberate effort because you are not in the vibrational range of connection…at least not in that moment.

An old saying goes like this: “Every cloud has a silver lining.” When you feel bad, the world can feel like a big, gray cloud. But there is always a possibility of finding the best in any moment or situation, and gratitude is an excellent tool for moving from feeling bad to feeling better. When you use gratitude to start moving up the vibrational scale, you should start small and think of the most basic thing that is going well for you. Perhaps the fact that you are alive and breathing feels like a better thought, and if it does, bask in the feeling of your “aliveness.” Maybe your most recent meal…maybe the one you are eating right now…is worth being grateful for? Enjoy the taste and texture of the food, and ponder how the vitamins and nutrients are feeding your body and soul.

Each individual knows best what they are grateful for, and taking time to count your blessings will give you some relief from a bad day every time. And sometimes all we need during a bad day is to pause, shift a bit, pivot, and move in a slightly different vibrational direction. Gratitude is your best tool for improving a bad day, and with practice, you can be feeling better and better until you actually feel pretty good most of the time. Once you feel good more and more of the time, you can spend more time in the vibrations of love, appreciation, and even bliss!

Every cloud does have a sliver lining, and you can find it if you look for it. Say “Thank You” more often, and let yourself be grateful for the things you already have. I am grateful for our readers and contributors, and I wish you the most amazing and connected day ever! Chris-GP


Source Energy Is Calling! Is Your Ringer On?

Anyone with a cell phone has had the experience of having it ring in a place where it should be turned off. Places like concerts, funerals, meetings, and meditation sessions are good examples of times that you really need to shut off your ringer. Having your phone go off in a bad time and place is annoying to you, and to the people around you too. Still, some people don’t want to take a chance that they might miss an important call. For some, a missed call represents a lost opportunity, a possible permanent disappointment they will never live down. I, on the other hand, don’t care if I miss calls. If it’s important I know they’ll call back. You have probably felt different ways at different time on this one.

Source Energy is calling you. Did you know that? You asked the Universe to change your life in a very important way the last time you experienced an uncomfortable experience of contrast in your life. You sent a huge request for your life to be better, more fun, expanded, and more joyful, and the Universe heard you, and Source is now calling you forward to receive it. Can you hear this call? Is it a good time for you to take this call? Is your ringer off? Do you think Source will call back?

The Law of Attraction has been organizing people, events, and circumstances to aid in the perfect unfolding of your asking. Let’s say you asked for a new job. Your present job, in all it’s crappiness, caused you to say “I want a better job. I want a great boss and fun and fulfilling tasks to play with all day.” Great! Then you did your best to align with the new vibration by enjoying the work you already have as much as you could. Great! You didn’t tell your old story, but you began telling your new story more and more, to the point that it feels like the true story, more than the “real” one. Great! So why aren’t you taking calls from “Source?” Source Energy on line one!

You might be being called to do little things that seem to make little difference, but can you hear the call? What might these calls sound like? In this example for a new job, the words being transmitted to you might sound like “wait for the next train” or “talk to that person” or “call that number you saw on the poster” or “visit that website” or “take a long walk right now” or “make that vision board” or “be kind to that person” or “attend that event” or anything that feels like a call to inspired action. If you aren’t taking these calls, you might never even hear the meaning of the feeling behind the inspiration. If you just ignore it, you might hear the words, but write them off as silly, like “I never do that.” Source will call you toward the perfect circumstances that Law of Attraction has organized for you, but you have to respond to the call. Turn your ringer on.

The beauty of all of this is that you can’t stop Source’s call to you. You can ignore it, but the call continues, consistently and constantly. It never gives up. So when you are ready and willing, pick up on this calling, and let the magic of your inspired life blossom fully into your awareness. Be Well, Marie-GP
